Some ideas arrive like a quiet whisper. Ours arrived like a cork popping — loud, joyful, and impossible to ignore. It took over 5 years to come to fruition, but we finally did it!
Welcome to Bev Proseccheria, the first Proseccheria in the United States. We brought a beloved Italian tradition across the Atlantic and planted it right in the heart of Charlotte's vibrant Plaza Midwood neighborhood — and we haven't looked back since. We have 12+ bottles of prosecco on our menu!
What Is a Proseccheria?
In Italy, a proseccheria is a place dedicated entirely to the art of Prosecco — a convivial gathering spot where the bubbles flow freely, the atmosphere is warm, and every sip feels like a small celebration. Think of it as a wine bar, but with a singular, sparkling focus.
At Bev, we've taken that spirit and made it unmistakably our own. Our menu is built around Prosecco in all its forms — from crisp pours to inventive cocktails that honor the Italian tradition while adding a little Southern charm.
The Experience
Step onto our patio and you'll find yourself transported. Our outdoor patio is made for lingering — the kind of place where an hour turns into three without anyone minding. String lights, open air, and the gentle clink of glasses set the scene.
And then there's our crown jewel: the vintage Airstream bar. Equal parts conversation piece and cocktail destination, it's where our bartenders craft Prosecco cocktails with care, creativity, and a generous pour of Italian spirit.
But wait, there's more! Step inside Perl, our reimagined airstream lounge. Open to the public any time she isn't booked for a private event, Perl welcomes conversation, friend making and overall cool vibes.
Why Charlotte? Why Now?
Charlotte is a city that loves to celebrate — and Plaza Midwood is its most spirited neighborhood. It also helps that we (as a family) have called PM home for over 23 years. We knew this was exactly the right place to introduce America to the Proseccheria experience. A community that embraces the bold, the beautiful and the bubbly? Perfetto.
