Welcome to Bev Proseccheria

We want your visit to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Because we hold North Carolina ABC permits, there are a few rules we are required to follow. Thank you for helping us stay compliant so we can continue serving bubbles to our wonderful community. NC ABC regulations place responsibility on permit holders to ensure alcohol laws are followed by both employees and patrons.

Do I need to be 21 to enter?

No. Guests under 21 may enter unless a specific event is designated as 21+. However, all alcohol purchases and consumption are limited to guests who are 21 years of age or older. We reserve the right to check identification at any time. NC ABC law prohibits alcohol sales and service to anyone under 21.

What forms of ID do you accept?

We accept valid, government-issued photo identification, including driver's licenses, passports, military IDs, and state-issued identification cards.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises unless specifically authorized by applicable permits or law. All alcoholic beverages consumed on-site must be purchased through Bev Proseccheria.

Can I bring outside food?

Yes! We welcome outside food and encourage you to enjoy takeout from our amazing neighborhood restaurants while you sip with us.

Can I bring my own non-alcoholic beverages?

Generally, we ask that outside beverages not be brought into the bar. If you have a medical need or special circumstance, please speak with a team member and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Why do you card guests who look older than 21?

Because our staff may be required to verify age at any time. Thank you for taking it as a compliment.

Can I purchase alcohol for someone under 21?

No. Purchasing or providing alcohol for anyone under 21 is prohibited.

What if someone in my group doesn't have an ID?

Guests without valid identification may not purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

Can I order a drink for someone who appears intoxicated?

No. North Carolina law prohibits the sale or service of alcohol to visibly intoxicated individuals. Our staff may refuse service at their discretion.

Can I take my drink outside?

Only within areas specifically designated by Bev Proseccheria and permitted by local regulations. Please ask a team member if you're unsure where alcoholic beverages may be carried.

Do you offer to-go alcoholic beverages?

Availability depends on current North Carolina law and our permit privileges. Please ask a team member about current offerings.

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in our outdoor patio areas. Service animals are welcome in all public areas as required by law.

Can I reserve space for a group?

Absolutely. We offer a variety of gathering options, from casual meetups to private celebrations. Visit our Events page or speak with a team member for details.

What happens if I forget my tab?

Open tabs left at the end of the evening may be closed using the card on file and may include an automatic gratuity.

Can Bev Proseccheria refuse service?

Yes. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide valid identification, appears intoxicated, behaves disruptively, or violates house policies. NC ABC permit holders are responsible for maintaining compliance and safe service practices.

What can I do to make my event special?

 Bev "Yes" List

We want Bev to feel like your private Italian parlor for the night! To help you plan, here is what you are welcome to bring and how we handle the cleanup:

✔ You Can: Bring Your Own Flavors

  • Outside Catering: You are welcome to bring in outside food or professional catering including a birthday cake or a tower of cannoli.

  • Note: We do not have a full onsite kitchen for reheating; please ensure outside food arrives ready to serve. This also means we do not supply plates and utensils.

  • NC ABC laws prohibit outside alcohol to be consumed on our premises.

✔ You Can: Set the Scene

  • Custom Decor: Feel free to bring florals, table runners, or free-standing signage to make the space yours.

  • Balloons: Balloon arches and bouquets are welcome!

  • The Soundtrack: For full buyouts, you can provide a custom playlist to be played over our house system.

The "Carry-In, Carry-Out" Policy

To keep our space sparkling for the next guests, we operate on a "Leave No Trace" basis for personal items.

  • Decor Removal: All balloons, florals, and banners must be taken with you at the end of your event.

  • Food & Containers: Any leftover outside catering or cake must be packed up and taken home. We are unable to store leftovers in our refrigerators overnight.

  • Gifts & Personal Items: Please designate one person in your party to be responsible for gathering all gifts and personal belongings at the conclusion of the event.

  • Clean-up: You take the "stuff," and we’ll handle the rest! We take care of the heavy cleaning, glass washing, and furniture resetting.

Deposits:

  • Deposits are nonrefundable.

  • Event dates may be changed with management approval. Please email events@moxiemercantile.com with any changes.

  • Events cancelled within 2 days will be responsible for the cost of food ordered.

  • Deposits are not applied to the minimum spend
